Order 
How does transitbaby work?

We offer parents the option to rent baby products on a per item basis. Renting with transitbaby gives parents the flexibility and access to baby products in a responsible and sustainable way.

How do I place an order?

To make an order, simply follow the steps:

1. Select rental term

2. Choose rental term period based on your start date

3. Procced to add order to cart by clicking 'Book Now'

4. Indicate any remarks before Checking Out and proceeding to payment

5. Complete payment and indicate delivery details

6. Once finished, you will receive a confirmation email

7. We will reach out to you within 1 working day on further details on your order

Do you have a minimum and maximum rental term?

The minimum rental term is 3 months. The maximum rental term differs from product to product and is decided based on the recommended usage period by the manufacturer.

Can I extend my rental term?

We're glad your baby loves the selected item! You may choose to extend your rental on a monthly basis (up to the maximum rental period) based on the per month cost. As this request is subject to availability, please reach out to us at info@transitbaby.com as early as possible.

Can I purchase the item with or without rental?

Here at transitbaby, we want to encourage the notion of sustainability and circulating of items back to the community. As such, we currently do not offer the option to purchase items.

Can I return the item earlier and get a refund if my baby does not like the item?

Unfortunately, we do not issue refunds at this time. When an item is paid for it is reserved for your family for the rental term and we are unable to serve another family. We understand that all babies are different and may not take to a particular item. This is another reason why we feel like renting an item is a good idea. You have the ability to try different options.

Delivery & Pick Up
Where do you deliver?

Currently we are only servicing Singapore.

What are your delivery timings?

We deliver between 9am - 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. For weekday deliveries, this will be subject to timing availabilities.

How do I schedule a delivery and pick up?

Upon checkout and payment, we will email you within one business day to schedule a delivery and pick up date and time based on your rental start and end date. We will do our best to accommodate a timing that is most convenient for you.

What should I expect on delivery day?

To minimize interruption, our team will complete the assembly of your items much as possible prior to arriving. We will also provide a quick tutorial for you to safely use the item.

What if I need to reschedule my delivery?

Sometimes things don't work out as predicted. Simply reach out to us via email at least 3 business days before your delivery/pickup, and you can reschedule at for no cost. A delivery cancellation within 2 business days of the scheduled delivery date will be subject to a $30 charge. If a delivery attempt is made at the scheduled time and you are not present to accept the delivery, we will charge a $50 "no-show" fee.

What safety precautions are being taken for Covid-19?

All our delivery personnel have been vaccinated and will be wearing protective masks upon delivery. We will try to minimize contact and interaction during delivery times.

Do you charge for delivery / pick up?

We charge a SGD 5 fee which includes delivery, assembly, cleaning and pick up services on a per product basis.

Product
Is the product new?

Yes and no. Although some pieces that you receive are new, others have spent time being loved by other families. The beauty of transitbaby is that our items get more lives! Be assured that all items have been quality checked, thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before you receive it.

How do you clean your products?

All our products are cleaned according to the manufacturer’s specifications prior to delivery. We follow a thorough step by step cleaning process:

Vacuum: We use a high-powered vacuum to clean out debris, dust and other particles in all the small crevices

Spot Clean: Using eco-safe and non-toxic disinfectants, we try out best to remove any lingering stains and marks to make sure your pieces look fresh and clean

Sanitize: We sanitize and disinfect all our equipment using a plant-based, non-toxic formula

Wash: With any washable items, we launder according to the manufacturer's specifications with eco-safe, baby detergent

How are your products quality checked?

All products are individually checked upon return to make sure they work as the manufacturer intended prior to renting them again. If an item does not meet our quality standards, it will be taken off our rental catalog and either fixed or replaced.

How do I get instructions for using and caring for my item?

With every delivery, we will include care sheet with instructions on how to care for the item as well as a QR code link to the product page. We ask that you care for your item well so that other families can enjoy the same item.

What if I damage an item during use?

Please reach out to us immediately at info@transitbaby.com with a description and picture of the damage. This will help us determine whether it will require a repair or replacement fee and we can help coordinate before pickup.

With babies, we understand that sometimes the product may get dirty or damaged. As long as we can clean it or make easy repairs, please do not worry about it! Unfortunately, if an item is damaged beyond reasonable attempts to restore its function, we will have to charge you for its repair or replacement on a case-by-case basis.
